Pressman – Manroland 40" 5 Color + Coater

Job Description :Seeking an experienced Pressman to operate our Manroland 40” 5-color press with coater in a fast-paced, trade-only, gang-run production environment. We’re looking for someone mechanically inclined, reliable, and confident in running a press from start to finish while maintaining efficiency and quality. Responsibilities include operating and maintaining the Manroland 40” 5-color press, performing make-readies, color matching, plate changes, and quality checks, running jobs efficiently with consistent registration and color, and troubleshooting printing or mechanical issues to reduce downtime. The role also requires performing repairs and preventative maintenance, supporting feeders and the press crew, maintaining a clean and safe press area, and keeping production on schedule with high-quality output. Requirements include 5+ years operating sheetfed offset presses (Manroland strongly preferred), experience with 40” 5-color presses and aqueous coating, strong mechanical aptitude, and ideally experience in gang-run or high-volume commercial printing. Leadership or first-pressman experience is a plus, along with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
